A: As a Cruising Free! Associate Agent you will earn from 50% of the commission on each sale you make online. ( i.e. an average commission on a cabin is $350.00. The Associate Agent will receive $175.00 and Cruise Brothers (Administrator Of The Cruising Free! program) will receive $175.00, this example is based on a 50% commission rate.) If you are a high volume producer, when you sign up, please see if you can qualify for a higher commission rate.

As a Cruising Free! Associate Agent, you make contact with relatives, friends, associates, social or church groups - anyone - and sign up people who want to cruise or go on a land vacation. The Cruising Free! support staff does all the rest, including: Invoices, payments, documents, flight arrangements, scheduling, etc...


Q: How soon can I go on a free or reduced fare cruise?

A: As a productive associate, you'll be eligible to travel at reduced rates. As a top producer for all of the major cruise lines, the Cruise Brothers and our associates are invited to attend Inaugural Celebrations aboard brand new ships where everything is FREE. The Cruising Free! program also offers various sales contests throughout the year where agents can win free cruises and airline tickets.

After you earn $5000 in commission you will qualify for an official IATAN (International Air Transport Association) Travel Agent ID card and that will allow you to take discounted trips such as cruises and receive many discounts at hotels, rental car companies, etc.

Reduced rate cruises are offered by the cruise lines to agents and associates based on their ability to provide bookings, so the more you book, the better your chances of qualifying for these special fares!

Q: How much do I have to pay for this business opportunity?

Q: Do I need my own personalized website?
A: No, you do not need your own personalized website to book a cruise for your clients. Cruising Free! Associate Agents without websites can book in the following ways.

  • Through a CruiseBrothers.com booking engine
  • Calling a CruiseBrothers.com customer service representative.
  • Filling out an online pricing request form and a CruiseBrothers.com customer service representative will help you with your booking.

Q: When will I be paid for my bookings?
A: After travel is completed (the customer returns home from the trip) and the cruise line sends the commission check we will then mail your portion to you.

Q: How do I find customers?
A: The first thing you should do is let everyone know that you are now a Cruising Free! Associate Agent. Tell everyone...even those people who you know don't travel that often because they may know people who need a travel agent.

Business cards are a very important tool as well. Spreading the word about your new business often involves handing out your cards to all prospective clients. You can purchase business cards from your local printer or over the internet. We even have templates for you to give to your business card provider.

In addition, you can increase your business presence by placing an ad in your local paper, generating flyers and putting them on bulletin boards, putting them in coffee shops, or by simply passing them out to friends and family.

There are so many people who travel and they are looking for someone help them get the best price. If you let everyone you know you can help, the word of mouth will help so much. Steve has 101 ways to sell cruises and every week during the Sales Meeting he will share a few with you.

Q: I live so far away, will it work?
A: Distance and geography do not affect sales or doing efficient business. In fact, most of our customers prefer to book over the phone and online. You could have your own personal website and your customers can book their cruise online from virtually anywhere. Or, you can book cruises for your customers using our booking system online. And remember, you are using 800 numbers for Cruise Line and CruiseBrothers.com calls. In most cases, you can obtain pricing from the cruise lines via the internet.

Q: What special equipment do I need?
A: A quiet, comfortable workspace, a computer with internet access and a telephone is all you need. As your job requires you to provide professional travel services to clients, your workspace should be free from distractions so that you can concentrate on providing the best possible service to your clients.

While we recommend a high-speed internet connection for your computer, it's not absolutely required, but it will make things easier (and faster!) for you. We'll provide you with all the other tools you'll need!
